Botanical Alpin Garden " La Jaysinia" covers 3,5 hectares of the mountainside in the village with waterfalls, chapel and 8000 plants from around the world. It was created in 1906 by Marie-Louise Cognacq-Jay a native to Samoëns , who along with her husband founded the famous store "La Samaritaine" in Paris.
